Sustainability at BRIGHT starts with durability. Sol is built for 5+ years of daily use, using a robust housing and a long-life LiFePO₄ battery.
Its casing is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, sourced from Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified suppliers. When performance eventually declines, the battery can be replaced, extending product life instead of replacing the entire lamp.
Sol has cradle-to-grave carbon footprint that ranges from 5.3 kg of CO₂e for the Sol Basic Capacity to 6.53 kg of CO₂e for the Sol High Capacity.
By replacing kerosene lamps, Sol helps households and communities:
- Avoid toxic indoor air pollution
- Save USD$100 – 300 in fuel costs annually
- Prevent hundreds of kilograms of CO₂e emissions per lamp
Whether you are supporting humanitarian operations or strengthening emergency preparedness, Sol provides dependable, long-lasting light where it is needed most.
Available in three models to fit different needs:
- Basic Capacity: 5.12Wh battery, up to 130 hours of light (about 5 days)
- Mid Capacity: 11.52Wh battery, up to 280 hours of light (about 11 days)
- High Capacity: 23.04Wh battery, up to 580 hours of light (about 24 days)
