Check if the light works on all three brightness levels. If it does, your lamp is ready to be used. Choose a setting and leave the light on. Compare the time it lasts to the time stated in the instruction manual or the packaging. (It's important to note that batteries degrade over time and lose their capacity to hold a charge for as long as when they are new. This is a normal process. However, it's possible to replace the batteries to restore their capacity to 100% again, ensuring the lamp's longevity.)
