BRIGHT Products at SMARTingen 2019
BRIGHT Products visited hundreds of 7th grade pupils fighting for entrepreneurship award at SMARTingen 2019 at Sentralen in Oslo.
May 14th the county finals for this years SMARTingen award was arranged by Ungt Entreprenørskap Akershus (UE) at Sentralen in Oslo. 80 groups from all over the county came to show their inventions to the audience and the jury crowning this years SMARTing, the Sustainability award and the Award for Best Prototype.
More than 2500 7th grade pupils from Akershus have completed the SMART program this year. SMART is active learning which gives the pupils experience with and knowledge about how to develop new solutions to challenges they meet. Through an idea process the pupils themselves are actively defining problem areas and they are challenged to think about provident and sustainable solutions.
BRIGHT Products were represented by CEO Selma Kveim and Product Design & Development Manager Olivier Butstraen. Butstraen sat in the jury and handed out the Sustainability award.
SMART motivates young pupils from 4th – 7th grade to work with problem solving. SMART inspires the urge to discover, think freely and creative. Through a process the pupils will uncover needs, develop ideas and realize solutions others may benefit from.
